No, I refuse to "read between the lines". All I see is the pure exploitation and gay propaganda, sorry. All these unnecessary shots don't expand the plot nor they are there to convey some metaphor or meaning.
They are there for the simple reason of exposition. I give it two stars only because it's shot with great skill, those seemingly disgusting bloody scenes are morbidly engaging.
