Review of Ravenous (1999) by Jocelyn B — 30 Aug 2007
This is a sick, fucked up movie... is awesome! I loved it! Guy Pearce gives a breathtaking performance and Robert Carlyle is creepy, twisted villain! The thing that I like the most about this movie is that it does not feel like a period piece, even though it is.
This movie is set during the Mexican-American War and it is about cannibalism. Very-underated movie. I think it deserved more credit than it actually got.
