Review of Ravenous (1999) by Rhonda B — 02 Feb 2008
Set during a bleak and difficult winter in the California Sierra Nevadas during the period of the Mexican-American war. Cool and under-explored time period. The film is dark but peppered with humour. Pearce is pretty and brooding as he battles his demons, but Carlyle was a joy to watch and the most memorable part of the movie for me.
