Ravenous is never what it appears to be. It always gets you when you least expect it. One minute you're smiling and actually admiring the characters, the next minute you find yourself throwing up yesterday's dinner.
The scene in the cave is one of the best horror sequences ever shot on film. Trust me, the rhythm of the beat of your heart will inCREASE! This should have been an NC-17. It's too strong.
