A brilliant movie that is difficult to describe accurately - Guy Pearce's character takes his situation dead seriously while the villains make giggles between mouthfuls of people and the soundtrack plays a sprightly banjo tune during deadly chases: it's almost as if he's trapped in a thriller and doesn't notice that everybody around him is in a comedy.
