Surely this is one of the most underrated and unfairly ignored films from the 1990's-- I don't think it's ever gotten the recognition it deserves, but hopefully some day it will.
It's a goofy splatter comedy and an intelligent allegorical horror film at the same time.
There simply aren't enough movies being made like this. The ending is fucking beautiful.
I hope Antonia Bird makes more cannibal flicks.
