Review of Ravenous (1999) by Anna G — 26 Nov 2009
Ravenous, a great little film from 1999 starring Guy Pierce and Robert Carlyle. Its a mix of a cannibal movie and sort of vampire movie, basically you have a lone man pop up at an army outpost during the winter of 1847 with a story of cannibalism so the very small force (like 5 total ) head out to try and deal with it, only to see that everything is not like they thought it was suppose to be.
It has a couple of nice little twists a nice pace, and a great music score that is perfect for the film. Also a few gory kills and cooking human stew, what else would you want out of a film.
