Review of Rashomon (1950) by Anne F — 01 Jun 2009
A man is murdered, and the story of how this happened is retold from the point of view of four witnesses - a bandit, the murdered man's wife, the murdered man and an onlooker. The stories are all very different, and we have to work out who is lying, and why.
Great film, apart from the lengthy sword fight scenes.
