Review of Rashomon (1950) by Mc K — 29 Oct 2008
I expected way better from all the hype and good reviews. I have a hard time believing that the story at hand caused that man to lose faith in the human soul. the story just made me really bored and wanted to grab three million paper bags.
why? because 3 million would be just the right amount to hide that woman's ugly-ass face. oh yeah, and whenever they laughed, I got really really confused. because then they'd state what was so funny, and it's not funny at all.
or cleverly demented mastermind-like. they just laughed for no reason. and it was forced too. god dammit, Kurosawa's done way better than this.
