Review of Rashomon (1950) by Rafiq U — 05 Nov 2009
A masterful work of art. Seriously, what happened to films being like this? Where to start... the acting, great, especially from Toshiro Mifune (like always). The shots are just phenomenal and there are some great cuts, while the story is both intense, comedic, and at the end, very moving.
A friggin' excellent film, not my favourite Kurosawa, but that's because his others are so good as well!
