Review of Rashomon (1950) by Gary L — 21 Feb 2010
Believe it or not, I had not seen this film until it came to the Lagoon last week, though I was familiar with the story, er, stories. I know it's only because I'm wrestling with story collections, the mechanics of a story, and with what makes a modern story, but I could not avoid the feeling that this film, Rashomon, is probably the finest story, ever.
