Review of Rashomon (1950) by Jason P — 27 May 2010
I especially liked the first person perspective of the court- I liked that you never heard the questions, only the answers. The end was a little abrupt- the baby seemed really random, but I think that might be the point.
You know the whole "practice random acts of kindness, etc... And everyone makes a big deal out of the cinematography, but coming from someone who doesn't know too many cinematographers by name, it was remarkably beautifully shot.
I'll definitely need to watch it again sometime.
