Review of Rashomon (1950) by Jareth S — 13 Nov 2010
Although the story itself is not amazing, where Rashomon shines is in the storytelling, using the four different viewpoints to tell a varied story. For the time when this was released I am pretty sure it was unheard of to do this, and then you throw in the great look that Akira Kurosawa gave the film and I can totally see why this is considered among his better works.
