Review of Rashomon (1950) by Lana O — 30 May 2011
You know Memento? I hated that movie. I was in a bad mood and wasn't inclined to have to "think", and that movie made you process everything. Too bad, too, because I think Guy Pierce is awesome.
Rashomon is kind of like that. Be in the mood to have your head spin, because this film is a participatory experience. Great acting, and really innovative storyline-wise (consider the other films from 1951!).
