Review of Rashomon (1950) by Mika S — 24 May 2012
I get what they're getting at, and appreciate it... Also appreciate the intention behind location, and exaggerated characters and facial expressions, and give the film respect for its novelty in that era and influence on later films- but I can't say it's a favourite just yet.
.. Also, a bit slow-moving, so I don't recommend watching when sleepy! ;-).
