Review of Rashomon (1950) by Nicolas A — 14 Jul 2012
Kurosawa did another great job on this picture. The cinematography is absolutly perfect for this film, it captures every scene perfectly, also the few sets that where used where excellent and they set the tone for the style of the film.
The combinnation of the 6 star cast is an excellent choise and they play theur character with absolute greatness. But offcourse the most memorable is the screenplay/story, it is so well written that it grips you from the first second untill the very last.
The editing plays a very important part and is done very creative, without comming over to fast our to messy, its an absolute joy to watch this perfect film.!
