Review of Rango (2011) by Jluis L — 26 Feb 2013
As with MOST Nickelodeon productions, Rango is targeted at children while actively engaging the parents. A Chameleon/Actor whose only survival technique is to blend in makes for a terrific, albeit predictable plot.
The allusion to his death throughout the movie makes for playfully dramatic irony, though unnecessarily morbid from time to time. The "jokes" get countered by awkward pauses in between that.
.. "can" be confusing. All in all, highly recommended.
