This movie was not advertised for what it was. don't let it get typecast as a video game movie. It has all the makings of a good monster flick. even though it has the rock doing what he does best, the action and destruction rival almost any godzilla and king kong movie.
it just has the bonus having having warm fuzzy @rock moments built in.
