Review of Bleeding Steel (2017) by Jake S — 28 Feb 2018
I give it one star for Jackie Chan. I'm glad the economy got a boost by having the movie made here and the out takes show all of the hard work and effects that go into making a film, so I give that credit.
Unfortunately the Australian cast did nothing to compliment this movie. When I saw Kym Gingell I was surprised as I thought he'd made it big in Hollywood in his first big screen appearance and was happy for him, then I realized it was made in Oz.
Then there's the female villain's black cape costume.....not sure who was in charge of wardrobe, but was not convincing. Quite laughable at times and not because it was funny. It started out like a blockbuster only to end as a ballbreaker.
Such a shame as it had potential.
