A disappointment that never lives up to its potential. The Rock is more subdued than in many of his works and the storyline makes absolutely no sense. Plus the effects are not that good.. certainly compared to last year King Kong which did a lot better giant ape work.
.. Some mindless action sequences but nothing makes sense.. the bad guys plan is idiotic and the military guys are equally idiotic... more brain dead than even the worst Transformers sequel.
