It breaks down like this: Disney channel actually has someone who can save the big screen. After the atrocious experience of "The Last Song" that included a misguided story line, characters we didn't care for, and an empty feeling in our wallets, comes a loving story of "Ramona and Beezus".
This tells us you don't need to have a rich and famous daddy and an insanely large database made up of 12-year old girls to be an accomplished young actress and to star in a wonderful family film.
Selena is at her best.
