Review of Ramona and Beezus (2010) by John P — 30 Jul 2010
As cliched as the messages, and as much as the "imagination" bits made me scratch my head, this was a really good movie from top to bottom. Sometimes you just need a good, clean G-rated romp.
All the actors did well, especially Joey King as Ramona. Hollywood should keep her around. John Corbett's character gets Dad of the Year honors. Overall: this was definitely made for tweenage girls, but anybody from that age-range up will enjoy it.
