Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Barry B — 01 Aug 2008
We open First Blood Part II with Rambo being visited in military prison by his old friend and mentor Col. Trautman with the offer of an early release if he takes on a covert mission to find POW's in 'Nam.
Rambo agrees to help Trautman but they are double crossed by their American superiors and Rambo is left behind enemy lines. Cue the one man army destroying everyone and everything in his sight in a bid to rescue the POW's and evade his Russian and Vietnamese captors.
A controversial movie for nuetrals but a brilliant and violent movie Stallone fans love. Fantastic film.
