Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Riff J — 18 Feb 2018

RAMBO II is dumb, loud, ridiculous, but never boring- a staple of 1980's action films. The cinematography and the directing on the technical side are both very good- this film has some of the best gunfights I've seen in a movie.

But it is offensive in that it is a glorified spectacle of unreality based on sensitive reality. But still, it's a lot of fun to watch, and its worth watching only unless you don't want to think too much about what is going on.

I wouldn't recommend you do that- because eventually, the feeling of offense will creep up and really bite.
