Review of Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) by Keegan C — 01 Jul 2011
Gone is the overwhelming politics of the first film only to be replaced by a different political message. Where this film truly difers from the first is in the massive amounts of action. This film brings about the iconic red head band, M60 toting Rambo who uses a combo bow to kill practically everything.
Perhaps this is a good thing as Stallone does a piss poor job of acting here. While he seemed to fit nicely into the role in the first film, here he just seems to shouting lines and looking like a deer caught in headlights.
But the film still entertains. What it lacks in quality, it makes up for in quantity and the body bags were getting filled with this installment.
