Here's the thing- Ralph breaks the internet is not a bad movie. It's colorful, has some good characters and will provide some food for thought after you leave the theater. But it's not a great movie.

Many of it's jokes are immature and frankly, not that good. The self advertising couldn't be more obvious, when the duo goes to the world of "Oh My Disney" and many of the visual jokes leave me somewhere between cringing at the product placement, and thinking that they are kinda clever to make a ho a website would look if one were to visit it in a more literal sense.

That being said, the big song in the movie is not memorable, and frankly neither is the rest of the movie. It's a good escape for a matinee, but not much more. Overall, I suggest you go see it if you enjoy animation, just don't expect it to be Toy story 2 or GOTG Vol.

2 level greatness.
