This is by no means a bad movie but it is clear it was made for a younger audience. What's sad about this movie is that it recycles a lot of the plot points from the previous movie where it doesn't work in this movie.
Plus it doesn't follow the lore that was set up in the previous movie but as I said this was aimed at a younger audience so I don't think kids would mind. The comedy is amped up, the animation style is fun, the message is fine.
In my opinion when going to watch this movie just keep in mind that it's a kids film and you'll like it just fine.
