Review of Raising Victor Vargas (2002) by Anna S — 17 Jan 2010
This movie was different, it portrayed the teenage relationship in an honest, original and sincere way, which is a welcome change. It is based around Victor who lives with his siblings and grandma in lower new york, and follows him and his peers struggles with insecurities whilst trying to search for love and acceptance.
I didn't love this film, and I'm not entirely sure why, but it felt real and authentic which was really refreshing.
