Review of Raise the Titanic (1980) by Corey B — 27 Jun 2009
A cheesy adaptation of the far superior book by Clive Cussler.
But it also got the public interested in the Titanic again and a few short years later it was discovered for real. The search Sequences remind me of the real life search which was conducted by Dr. Robert Ballard and funded by the Navy in the his off time in the search for the U.S.S. Scorpion which sank in 1968. At the time no one knew that this was the real mission of Dr. Ballard.
