What's not to like about this movie - cat fights, Gong Li, mind games, the beautiful Qiao compound, snowy backdrop of Shanxi, political undertone... did I mention Gong Li *involving* in the cat fights (now that's good cinema)? I'll never look at lanterns the same way again.
