I like the color red and I like Gong Li. So naturally I liked the movie. Okay, well, to be fair, it was fairly predictable but then again, with any movie that has Gong Li in it, all you do is keep your eyes on her and there is no time to worry about the plot.
Sad, sad story though. The Master of the house is a friggin' bastard. Period. The storytelling is brilliant and I love the lines. And the accent of the actors.
