I thought this movie was a bit overrated. I heard many good things about it but was a bit disappointed. Perhaps this was a great movie back then. I thought the movie was really slow. It's basically two brother reuniting and getting to know each other.
One thing I have to give credit to is Dustin Hoffman for extremely good acting. My favorite scene was when the two brothers were dancing in the casino. However, the ending was a bit sad because Tom Cruise didn't win custody of his brother.
