Terrific movie. Hoffman of course steals the show in his Oscar-winning performance, but Cruise also really shines in this fantastic picture, a road trip story about two brothers, with a sweet center, entertaining screenplay and a funny script.
Great direction and also a fantastic Hans Zimmer score thrown in the mix; Rain Man is a touching, funny, enjoyable and delightful film with enough appeal to overshadow and flaw.
