Review of Rain Man (1988) by Gavin P — 08 Apr 2011
Really good - just an interesting journey, emotionally and literally. It's interesting to watch Tom Cruise turn from a prick into someone who genuinely grows to love his autistic brother, since it shows how frustrating he can be.
Deserved Oscar for Dustin Hoffman - plays it well, but not too over the top - and the film overall. It's essentially a roadtrip movie with these interesting characters getting to know each other along the way.
Well done.
