One of Tom Cruise's earlier movies when his agent got him all this nice cocky roles he excels in.
Like in Top Gun, Days of Thunder or Jerry Maguire I love to watch Tom Cruise being ...uhm... Tom Cruise (?).
Unfortunately he always turns into a likable character mid-film... Either way he is overshadowed by a brilliant Dustin Hoffman who gives an disturbing real autistic performance.
Rain Man is a great mix of character study, road movie and family drama and the Vegas scenes are just fantastic. (I wonder if Kevin Spacey would recruit him).
