Review of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) by Alexander C — 06 Dec 2012
This movie is a classic. Few Action Adventure Films come close to matching this Spielberg classic. Last Crusade is just as good, but I choose Raiders because...I don't really know. This film made Indy the icon of adventure.
With awesome stunt work and special effects this movie was well ahead of it's time. With memorable characters, quotes and scenes (like when Indy shoots the swordman) it remains my favorite Spielburg, followed closely with Last Crusade.
