Steven Spielberg and George Lucas come together to make the masterpiece Raiders of the Lost Ark; an extraordinary action/adventure film. Starting out strong, it never lets up. The quick pacing adds a lot of energy, keeping the story in constant motion.
And, each beat is perfectly matched with John Williams' iconic score. Harrison Ford brings a certain charisma and attitude to the lead character of Indiana Jones; which helps to make him one of the most beloved action heroes.
Additionally, Karen Allen and John Rhys-Davies provide a great supporting cast. Raiders of the Lost Ark is an high adrenaline adventure that succeeds on every level, truly a landmark action film.
