Movie Matt here with Raiders of the Lost Ark, the film that kick started the very & still popular Indiana Jones series. No recaps because almost everyone saw this film as a kid or teenager (my mom was 17 when this originally released in 1981) & it's one of the most cherished films of all time.
That doesn't mean it doesn't have some flaws like the run time which earns the 4-star rating. Although 115 minutes long, it felt like 3 hours long (TOD, TLC & KOCS would later extend their run times slightly more into the 120s) although there was a LOT of visual & music homages to Lawrence Of Arabia in the desert segment which takes up most of the film.
All in all, a good flick & if you're a Harrison Ford fan, this one's for you. "Trust Me"-Indiana Jones.
