Review of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) by Russell S — 23 Feb 2018
The first few times that I watched Raiders, I didn't really think that highly of it at all. In my mind it might have actually been the worst film in the Indiana Jones franchise. But now, ever since I bought it at the store a couple weeks ago, I have watched it twice over.
And it has now been solidified in my mind that this film is actually, by far the greatest Indiana Jones movie yet. And I would even argue with anyone that it is the greatest action movie that I have ever seen, even better than Marvel's The Avengers and Captain America: Civil War.
For crying out loud, Raiders might be the greatest movie ever.
