As a fan and supporter of biopics and period pieces, I know very well that they can easily miss their mark, but Ray hits it directly. Jamie Foxx gives a stellar, energetic and human performance as Ray Charles, mastering his voice, mannerisms and appearance as well as truly embodying the man's troubled character.
