Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Mawson — 03 Aug 2012
Wonderful movie, an absolute classic. I can't quite give it a ten (that score is reserved for the absolute masterpieces), but it comes close, very close. De Niro and Pesci are mesmeric, beautiful and flawless performances that captivate and enthral from the first moment to the last.
This should be seen by everybody, its about as good as modern film making gets.
