Jake LaMotta is a unlikeable doucebag. But how is it that Martin Scorscesse Makes a good film about this unlikeable jackass? I don't know how Raging Bull Does it. There are brutal boxing sequences shot in black and white thoroughly entertaining. The acting is solid, But it is hard for me to watch. There are often lots of realistic disturbing scenes around this movie hiding in corners. I could barely get through one scene in this movie which is painful, This movie might be to harsh for other people. But its ok for hardcore moviegoers.
