A masterpiece. Everyone still remembers this. How does Scorsese succeed so well? DeNiro is great as the real life Boxer Jake LaMotta, Joe Peschi as Jake's brother, and Cathy Moriarty as Jake's wife.
"Raging Bull" would also be the start of a long term movie relationship Martin Scorsese and Thelma Schoonmaker. They have both made a very special movie.
