Whether you like De Niro in Heat, Godfather Part II, Cape Fear or Meet the Parents, in here he is above all just mean. One of his best movie roles in his career and a role that no one else can be played.
This is not just De Niro´s best movie, it´s almost Scorsese´s masterpiece ( which my opinion, it´s The Departed ). But all along, Raging Bull is Marty´s and Bobby´s greatest achievement since Goodfellas and Casino.
