Multifaceted tale of redemption; Scorsese constructs a tremendous piece of influential trascendence, visually inspired by Bob Fosse's Lenny (1974). We all have personal rings, and the fighters are several. That's life. De Niro, through his best performance so far, contributes to a powerful entry to the 80s.
