Cage's performances shines through a bleak and poorly written revenge film, which isn't terribly directed, but only SLIGHTLY improves on previous Cage films Stolen and Trespass, which all blur together in abysmal mediocrity.
The anti-gun violence message which the twist brings on is pathetic, however and patronizing to its audience.
