Rage is terrible. A severe misuse of its characters and themes makes the film almost unwatchable. It does a fantastically horrid job of connecting viewer to character with little to no emotional detail, backstory, or motivation beyond the plot's demands.
The story is nearly plotless, the ending is weak, and any sort of potentially redeeming quality ends up as a distant memory to something far worse.
