Review of Radio Flyer (1992) by Thomas J — 16 Dec 2010
A sort of happy and sad film exploring the imaginations of two young brothers as they live their lives in the tough suburbs and use their minds to build a flying machine to escape from their struggling lives with their abusive father.
Like I said, it is a happy and sad film that is up and down in both good and mixed ways, but it does give off the wrong idea of showing that running off into your own fantasy world or finding an escape plan solves abuse issues.
Still, I somewhat liked it.
