Review of Rachel Getting Married (2008) by Chloe D — 05 Feb 2010

Wow, took me SO long to get round to seeing this. I seem to remember the day I was supposed to see it at the cinema it poured with rain so we called it off!

Loved the way it was filmed, little bit like a documentary and kinda like you were following the characters round the house. Sometimes the camera would be in another room and it felt a bit like peeking into someone elses lives. The dialogue was great as well, it was so natural and appeared to be unscripted, even though it was all written!

Can't really escape reviewing this without mentioning Anne Hathaway in a hugely different role. She was really good. Not sure it's Oscar material, but it'd be nice to see her do a few more things like this.
