Review of Rachel Getting Married (2008) by Hugo S — 04 Aug 2012
Strong performances with Anne Hathaway coming out on top. The hand-held camera gives a lot of freedom to Jonathan Demme and his cinematographer, making the entire film surprisingly dynamic. It's also very well-written by Sidney Lumet's daughter, everything is revealed in the right time, and once again Demme does a pretty amazing job directing, as everything and everyone seem so natural.
Solid family drama.
